Privacy Policy
Who this covers
This policy applies to the OKDaily app, used by two kinds of people: a Parent, who checks in once a day, and a Caregiver, who monitors that check-in. It explains what we collect from each, why, and where it goes.
What we collect
How we use it
Every piece of data above exists for one purpose: letting a family know a parent is safe, or alerting them quickly if a check-in is missed or SOS is pressed. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not build behavioral profiles from it.
Who can see it
- A parent's caregiver can see that parent's check-in history, SOS events, and location during an SOS.
- A parent cannot see any other family's data, and sees none of their own account settings beyond the daily check-in itself.
- Nobody outside your paired family — data is never sold, and never shared with advertisers.
Where it's stored
OKDaily runs on Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore, Firebase Authentication, Firebase Cloud Messaging), hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure. Subscription payments are processed by Razorpay; OKDaily itself never receives or stores card numbers.
Your choices
A caregiver can edit or remove a parent's profile, check-in window, and history at any time from Settings. To fully delete an account and its data, email us — see below — and we'll remove it within 30 days.
Children
OKDaily is built for adult caregivers managing an adult parent's daily safety check-in. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or how we use it, we'll update the effective date above and notify caregivers in-app.
